Will I have to pay import duties or taxes on my purchase?Updated a day ago

As we are a Canadian company, we are required to collect tax on all items sold through our store as per applicable tax laws in Canada depending on your location:

- 5% (GST) in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Quebec, Saskatchewan, and Yukon

- 13% (HST) in Ontario

- 15% (HST) in New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island

Sales Tax (US Orders): We are required by law to collect sales tax on orders shipped to the state of New York (applicable to both B2C and B2B orders)The standard tax rate averages around 8% and is calculated automatically at checkout based on your delivery addressPer state tax laws, sales tax applies to both the order subtotal and shipping charges.

US Fulfillment & Customs Duties: All US orders are shipped directly from our fully functional US warehouseOn occasion, if an item is fulfilled from our Canadian warehouse instead, customers are guaranteed never to pay customs duties or import fees.

No tax is collected by us from International customers.

Unfortunately, some countries hold packages, delay shipment, and can sometimes charge import duties on shipments (and often quite randomly!)

We are legally obligated to note the exact retail value of goods sold on all packages. Packages from us may be subject to import duties if you reside outside of Canada, according to your country’s import policies. These policies vary widely from country to country.

Based on our experience, EU/UK customers can expect to be charged 20% VAT of your order total by local customs. US customers can sometimes be charged import duties as well, particularly for orders over $ 500 USD.
